Am I the only one who thinks we should let the companies burn for their mistakes?
Why does the government need to regulate the market? That’s basically saying that the American Economy is too stupid to fix itself, or even RUN itself. The country with a regulated economy is the country run by an individual, and that’s what we’re turning into. People hate on Bush, but the fact is, he’s going to be out of office soon, and there are other people who are WAY more powerful than he is who are slowly moving into position to basically dominate our country.
Soon, we will only have a handful of people (we already do anyway, just the general public hasn’t heard of them before) who will battle for top position. The president is given legal power, but we all know that with the right amount of money and certain friends, finances trump legality.
The morals in this country are outrageous, no one takes responsibility for their own mistakes or actions, and everyone expects someone else to help them. This is the worst situation I have seen in a long time in any country, because of the potential collapse and transfer of dangerous power to other leaders around the globe. America has always claimed to be the world’s police force, yet they won’t even make good decisions in their own country, let alone elsewhere.
Now the right wing is the left wing, and the left wing has already fallen off the edge! There is no balance to anything anymore, and the economy was the only thing still maintaining the order. It’s obvious that everything has a cycle, and every few years the forest has to burn itself down to be able to regrew new and better trees, and purge itself of the dying and fallen logs that were corrupting it. To get in the way and attempt to replant those logs is a huge mistake, and we’re going to pay for it.
